The MD116 is designed to optimize EMS processes for communicating, collecting, and documenting patient
information. It provides enhanced support for emergency medical dispatchers, first responders and hospital
staff who process data. Data can be shared between the MD116 and other devices, including health insurance
card information, ECG units and respirators, and real-time transfer of patient information such as vital signs or
alarms. Patient data can be transmitted over broadband mobile network communications as radio, printout,
